SUMMARY:
I am currently recruiting for a leader in the flexible packaging industry who is looking to recruit a Technical Engineer. You will play a pivotal role in running flexible packaging materials with customers at sites across the UK, providing technical guidance, addressing challenges, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel and confident in client-facing situations.

My client provides polypropylene, laminates and special films and are at the forefront of providing innovative packaging solutions, particularly to the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct material trials with customers.
• Provide technical support and expertise on-site.
• Collaborate closely with clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Conduct site visits to assess material performance and recommend improvements or troubleshooting strategies.

Ideal Experience:

• Flexible packaging processes and materials
• OPP, CPP, laminates, PET films
• Experience in the food packaging industry is highly desirable, although other packaging experience will be considered.

The role will be dynamic with each week bring new challenges and opportunities. The primary focus is on the Technical Engineer role, with the potential opportunity to also support the sales team in identifying client requirements and proposing appropriate solutions, however, this is not a core requirement of the position.
