SLITTING MACHINE OPERATOR / MULTISKILLED MACHINE OPERATOR

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

SALARY: £DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE + 1 ½ Overtime

SHIFTS ON OFFER: Double Days Monday - Thursday - Friday 12 - 8pm

OR 4 X NIGHT SHIFT

They are currently looking to recruit a multi-skilled Slitter / Machine Operator to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience on slitting machinery, in addition to slitting operations, the selected candidate will receive comprehensive training on other machinery within the production line, (Lamination and Digital Printing) offering a diverse and enriching career development path.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• To operate the slitting machinery in a safe working manner in line with all company best practices and procedures
• Ensure Health, safety & environment policies and procedures are adhered to
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
• Follow all workplace safety regulations, ensuring the machine is operated safely and proper protective equipment is used
• Properly operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products
• Able to follow instructions and complete within a given timeline
• Good organisational skills, maintain working area and ensure that it is kept clean
