£50 - £70K Depending on Experience + Generous Commission + Car or Car Allowance

Our client is a provider of innovative packaging films for industrial, food, beverage, dairy and agricultural markets. A growing company with a strong focus on product development and product innovation.

They are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their team, the role will be to develop motivate and manage distributors and key accounts in the Midlands area, drive sales volumes and revenue to achieve probability targets.

The role will include managing existing account and finding new business, the ideal candidate will already be selling film or selling film wrapping machinery.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Identify, develop, motivate and manage a network of distributors in your sales area
  • Initiate, develop and follow up Key Accounts
  • Establish, maintain and manage superior customer relationships with distributors and key account at Senior Management levels to deliver profitable, sustainable and long-term relationships
  • Analyse, review and update the segmentation of distributors and key account based on factors that are directly related to the approved Sales Strategy
  • Implement all actions regarding the development of detailed sales forecasting, as well as the evaluation and refinement of demand planning figures
  • Develop and propose to the Commercial Development Director, the annual budget and the Sales and Marketing strategy for the sales area of your responsibility
  • Support the Commercial Development Director in the development of pricing policies for geographies, markets and industries that the group currently operates, based on the group's commercial strategy
  • Able to understand key business drivers and to identify long and short-term market penetration opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing, Branding and Communication to identify promotional, marketing and market penetration actions (such as participation in events, exhibitions, conferences, digital marketing actions, etc).
  • Ensures the entry of relevant data / information in the CRM to enhance dissemination and utilisation of information.
  • Continuously record and update Distributors and key accounts data and information, related to progress status, trial/visit reports, promotional and business development activities, for both existing and new customers
  • Monitor key performance indicators regarding commercial targets, performance, service level quality, accuracy and client satisfaction compared to the desired target / level per case
  • Communicate and resolves administrative - oriented issues, provides input in the development and re-design of processes in collaboration with the Business Process Manager
  • Implement, manage, and provides support ad-hoc to any other requests from the Commercial Development Director as requested
