Hours Of Work: Monday To Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

My client is a well-established market leader in the supply of printed flexible packaging and labelling products to Blue Chip and niche brands within the UK and Europe.

They are currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their management team, you will support the business of Quality/Environmental/safety/Health in providing a controlled compliance service across the Group.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the Quality Assurance procedures are complied with.
  • Control and manage environmental impacts relating to the business and establish best practice.
  • Manage and Co-ordinate BRCGS Auditing, following up BRCGS non-conformances and ensure site is always BRC compliant.
  • Support with document control, corrective and preventative action and trend analysis.
  • Work with site representatives to manage Quality Management and Operating Procedures including all Hygiene Operations, allergen management and pest control.
  • Accountable for completing internal (first party) audits to support compliance assurance, audits and risk objectives.
  • To resolve any areas of non-compliance (BRCGS).
  • Support the site with their maintenance log and ensuring all jobs are completed in a timely manner
  • Create a Safety Management System to ensure all incidents/accidents are reported and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage and order Uniform, PPE stocks and distribute as required keeping records of issue.

Skills / Experience:

  • IOSH trained with experience in Health and Safety risk assessments.
  • Background in H&S and BRC Audits
  • Have experience of BRCGS and managing the system.
  • Well organised, ability to plan and prioritise tasks on own initiative.
  • IT skills and excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Sound judgement and decision making
  • Able to report and investigate Quality issues
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously when required.
