My client is a leading manufacturer of innovative and sustainable flexible packaging specialising in creating high-performance packaging for a wide range of industries, including food, beverage and personal care, and healthcare. Their commitment to sustainability and innovation drives them to develop products that meet the evolving needs of customers while reducing environmental impact.


They are now looking to recruit a Key Account Manager to join their team. You will play a crucial role in managing and developing key customer accounts within the flexible packaging industry. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored packaging solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts within assigned industries or territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business objectives and packaging requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, orders, and feedback.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding the companies product range and capabilities including but not limited to a range of flexible packaging including Barrier Film, Laminates, Lidding Film, Recyclable Packaging
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible packaging solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects, from initial inquiry to final product delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and support.
  • Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to continuously improve products and services.
  • Experience / Skills
  • Proven experience in account management or sales within the flexible packaging or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
