GUILLOTINE / PRODUCTION OPERATIVE - PRINT

VALE OF GLAMORGAN

£Open + Pension + Overtime Time ½

Hours - Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:45pm and Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Our client is a small and large format digital printing company based in South Wales. They supply a range of printed products such as banners, pop-up stands, posters, commercial print, booklets and brochures.

They are currently looking to recruit a Guillotine / Production Operative to join their team.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Operation of the Guillotine and Booklet Maker
• Print Finishing
• Printing and Operation of Print Machinery
• Quality Control
• Booking Stock in
• Despatching goods out
• Must be flexible as the role is varied.
• Experience in a print manufacturing environment and handling paper is essential.
• Must be proactive and be used to prioritising work and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 and procedures would also be an advantage.
• Must ensure any required print finishing is completed quickly and efficiently to high quality standards and with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that their Customers' and the Company's needs are met and their ISO 9001:2015 certificate accreditation maintained
• Computer literacy and an understanding of Quality Control would be a distinct advantage
• Looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, trustworthy person with high quality standards, a can-do attitude and the willingness to learn, act on instruction and become part of their friendly team
