Our client is a dynamic and growing small business specialising in branded clothing / workwear and merchandise. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers. Our diverse product range includes branded uniform, PPE, promotional clothing, and promotional merchandise. They cater to various industries, nationally.

They are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on leader to drive our business forward and maintain a positive working culture.

Position Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong commercial acumen and a passion for the branded clothing / workwear and merchandise sector. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, with the ability to manage day-to-day operations while driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Identify market opportunities and drive business expansion.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of operations including production, supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer service. Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market share. Build and maintain a target-oriented sales division and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of product lines, ensuring they meet market needs and quality standards. Increasing profitability along the way.
  • Customer Focus: Customer first. Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, addressing customer needs and ensuring high levels of service.
