FULFILMENT MANAGER - WAREHOUSE, PACKING, COLLATING & LOGISTICS
WEST YORKSHIRE

Reporting into the Head of Operations / Procurement, this role is ideal for a Fulfilment Manager, Head of Logistics, Distribution Centre Manager or Logistics Manager with experience of managing multi-client requirements within a fast-paced and complicated picking and packing environment.
The Role
- Management of the entire fulfilment operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
- Oversee multi-client jobs, ensuring each client's needs are met and exceeded.
- Strategic Fulfilment Management Planning - including existing site improvements and developing and implementing operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Manage the MIS system (Tharstern) to optimise efficiency, analyse performance metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancements and cost savings.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Significant Change Management - including people & processes.
- Lead, engage and mentor a team of approximately 48 Fulfilment staff, plus agency staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Various operational Projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
The Person
- Fulfilment Manager, Head of Logistics, Distribution Centre Manager or Logistics Manager.
- Extensive and proven experience in successful change management.
- Strong customer/client-centric approach.
- Overall management responsibility.
- Pro-active and hands on leadership approach.
- Robust personality - able to challenge the status quo and drive Change.
- Able to liaise from shopfloor to Board level.
- Keen to leave a lasting impact and legacy on the wider business.
- Motivated by a high-paced, forward-thinking role within a dynamic and growth-driven business.
- Candidates should meet the below as a minimum requirement
- Proven success within change management
- Previous warehouse and fulfilment management
- People management and engagement with from operatives through to senior/board level management
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Area Managers (In this context, areas of the business not geographical areas of the country)
- Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance
- Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
- Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
- Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance
