Our client, a leading manufacturer and printer of extruded films in the UK, they are currently recruiting a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team. They are a family run business with over 60 years' experience and an impressive turnover, specialising in high-quality printed and plain polythene anything from Sheeting, Co Extruded Film, Lamination Film, Shrink Film, To Bags & Pallet Covers, they sell into a range of industries Including Medical / Pharma, Food, Mailing & Retail, Horticulture & Agriculture.
The role of the Business Development Manager will to be develop new business as well as grow the companies market presence. The chosen candidate can be from either a manufacturer or distributor background with experience selling polythene / film products.

Responsibilities / Personal Attributes:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance and business development activities
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Experience in business development or sales, within the packaging industry.
- Previous experience selling packaging products either from a manufacturing or distribution background
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationship
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude with lots of initiative and negotiation skills
