PROJECT MANAGER - LUXURY PACKAGING

OFFICE BASED: PARIS

Our client is a creative luxury packaging company with offices spread out worldwide and several fully owned manufacturing plants, they partner with globally recognised brands to design and create packaging. They are dedicated to understanding the needs of their clients and the demand within the industry.

Our client is an outstanding business, a manufacturer of both Primary and Secondary Luxury Packaging, producing in multi materials for the most prestigious brands. Our client has superb technical systems and infrastructure in place and has some phenomenal growth plans.

They are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with their sales department and clients while managing projects from conception to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow projects and production through from prospection to final delivery
• Work closely with our production facilities and teams in China
• Assist in the development and implementation of action plans to enable time, resource and process management
• Coordinate project meetings including kick-off, team meetings, client meetings, risk assessment, lessons learned, post launch reviews, and others as needed
• Effectively and efficiently convey project progress, including project plan, timeline, challenges, etc., to stakeholders
• Assess, anticipate, and communicate project risks and opportunities across departments and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot problems and challenges, know when to escalate to keep projects moving
• Drive governance to ensure prioritisation of initiatives across critical and urgent business deliverables
• Hold internal and external teams accountable for the delivery of commitments, escalate issues as needed
• Ensure that project, order and delivery timelines are coordinated and managed accurately, via Critical Path Analysis systems to ensure all deadlines are achieved and communicated internally and externally
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
• Delivery of a high number of SKUs at one time across multiple products and a varied number of brands
• Work closely with the Operations and Design teams to ensure that standards, processes and agreed project management methods are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Co-ordination and production of project reports
• Propose and present project management tools and strategy solutions

Requirements:

• Uses technology (M365, CRM, ERP) and data as valuable tools to stay organised
• Analytical, organized, disciplined, resourceful, proactive, and execution oriented
• Strong project management skills
• Customer-centric with ability to drive alignment across teams and business leaders
• Self-driven, independent thinker, not afraid to challenge the status
• Fast learner, flexible, able to manage complex matrixed network of Brands and Functions
• Ability and agility to shift between strategic and the tactical
• Experience working with recognized project management processes
• Excellent communication & time management skills
• Experience working with international clients
• Speaks another language other than French and English (preferably Mandarin)

Additional Requirements / Desires:

• Bachelor's degree
• Fluency in English and French (Mandarin, Spanish a plus)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager
• An understanding of the luxury packaging industry
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office applications
• Advanced proficiency in ERP platforms
• Excellent customer service and diplomacy skills
