TOOL SETTER - PLASTIC MANUFACTURING

Location: West Yorkshire

Hours - 12 hr shifts (4 on 4 off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Setup: Prepare and set up injection moulding tools and equipment.
• Machine Adjustment: Optimise machine settings for performance and quality.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve tool and equipment issues.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machines.
• Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on production runs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool changes and maintenance.
• Health and Safety: Follow health and safety regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements.
• Collaboration: Work with Operators, Supervisors, and Quality Control.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Tool Setter in plastics manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of injection moulding, tool setting, and machine operation.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure precise setup and quality production.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Physical Stamina: Handle physical demands, including lifting tools.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members.
