Salary: £45-£55K + Bonus (Max £18k) + Company car or Allowance + 20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (+ 1 day extra each year after 2 years) + Health insurance after 2 years

Our client specialises in the supply and manufacture of high-quality reflective products, printing, signage and production. They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their team. Selling Retro-reflective self-adhesive films for Safety application including Traffic Signs, Numberplates, Street furniture / vehicles and Large format digital printers for Traffic Sign shops

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Sales targets of approximately £2 million + in the Reflective Traffic and Safety industry
• 50% account management, growing existing accounts and building a solid long-term relationship with key accounts, 25% new business development, 25% specification selling
• Contacting end users such as Local Authorities, Road Maintenance Contractors and the Highways Agency
• Confident and adaptable to a wide range of customers - the right candidate with comfortable in front of a Managing Directors as well small business Owners
• Comfortable giving presentations to large groups of people
• Strategy is key, the candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to creatively approach more difficult customers and know when to not sell and work on a longer sales cycle by relationship building
• Diary management, ability to work alone as well as in a small but fun team is also important
• There will be the need on occasion to help in other areas of the business. They are a small business, so everyone helps everyone
• Good knowledge of pricing and quotations is essential along with a methodical method on working and logging information for follow up
