Our Client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke luxury packaging. From initial concept through to mass production, they sell the full range of products including cartons / boxes, bags, paper and ribbons into a variety of market sectors including fashion, beauty & cosmetics.

They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager to join their team, working with some of the world's most iconic brands. This is an exciting role in an energetic, fast paced company with ambitious growth plans.

This role is to ensure that communication between the customer and the various divisions (sales, operations, design, production and logistics) is efficient, clear and as detailed as possible.

The role is office based in London with some travel to clients in London and Manchester when required

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Visit clients as and when required (Manchester and London)
  • Take pleasure in seeing the products you helped to create displayed in shops and on social media
  • Daily communication with the customer - ensuring the customer feels that they are kept informed at all times Project Timelines
  • Ensuring the customer and the supply chain is working to the same timeline.
  • Chasing information such as; costs, artwork, customer approval, delivery dates, factory updates, etc
  • Admin - Raising sales order, requesting purchase order, timeline planning, etc
  • Product research - investigating and researching the market in order to understand the customers end requirements
  • Working closely alongside the Sales Director
  • On a daily basis the Account Manager should be very familiar with the details of each project
  • Supporting the Sales Director and ensuring the project meets the customer required timelines and expectations.

  • You will be speaking directly with the customer and the various divisions within their business and the customer business
  • You should be able to prioritise important issues against urgent issues in order to drive projects to completion
  • Be a self-starter
  • Understand and foresee potential problems, create solutions and implement them
  • You should have an excellent eye for detail especially when checking products, artworking and admin listening skills
  • You must have excellent listening skills in order to understand deeply what the customer wants
  • Commercial awareness - You must be able to balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business and be commercial about it
  • A strong, confident personality - you will be required to deal with various challenges that will require confidence to make informed decisions
  • This is a superb role for someone who already has previous account management experience and an understanding of producing or developing a product on behalf of a client
