QHSE MANAGAER

YORKSHIRE

Salary up to £55K (Depending on Experience)

Our Client is a leading print and packaging company producing work for a diverse range of markets from food packaging to FMCG, to premium and luxury goods. The Company are expanding and have over 75 years' experience in the industry.

They are currently looking to recruit a Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Ethical Manager to join their team.

Requirements:

• Previous track record of H&S achievements in the workplace, i.e. reducing accidents, introduction of H&S working practices
• An understanding of current environmental and H&S legislation, where to find out how it changes, what to do when it changes
• Understanding of the ETI Base code and the ethical requirements needed to ensure compliance
• Can undertake supplier audits
• Can write Risk Assessments
• Experience in managing H&S in the workplace
• Experience of BRCGS, over a number of years
• Experience of ISO 14001 & ISO 9001, over a number of years
• Good communications skills, both inwardly, which means listening and verbally with the ability to communicate at all levels from shop floor to the board room
• Has a record for continual improvement, driving complaints down and can show effective change management
• Has undertaken ethical compliance audits, understands how they work and can prevent any major concerns being raised
• Internal auditor training, has undertaken internal audits over a number of years
• Knowledge on how to run a 14001 Management System, understands document control, revision status
• Ability to know how to run a H&S management system and Quality Management System
• Team player, someone that is not prejudiced
• Able to be customer facing and is confident when dealing with customers, someone that can present to a customer, using PowerPoint
• Ability to put the company position across in a professional manner
• Understands SEDEX, can respond to audit NCRs through SEDEX to ensure timely closure
• Undertaken 3rd party audits with ISO & BRCGS auditors, understands how to effectively close out corrective actions within a timely manner
• Internal quality auditor training with a recognised body - trained and passed
• HaRM trained with a recognised body - trained and passed
• IOSH trained (Institute of Occupational Safety Training) - trained and passed
• Environmental internal auditor - trained & passed
• Understanding and experience in Lean management - Desirable
• Understanding and experience in Six Sigma - Desirable
• Lead Auditor Training - Desirable
• NEBOSH Trained (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety)
