40 Hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (2pm finish 1 day per week)
Salary £25-29K + Auto Enrol Pension + 30 Days Holidays (incl. Bank)
Our client requires a Print Finisher to operate a GM Finishing Press in the die-cutting, varnishing, laminating, and slitting of printed labels to the customers' requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a finishing press applying laminate, spot varnishing, die cutting and/or slitting / rewinding printed self-adhesive labels.
- Ensure labels are finished to the customers' exact specification i.e. quantity, specification, colour, rewind instructions and number of labels on each roll.
- Ensure that machine is kept clean and maintained as per company standards and maintenance sheets are completed in-line with company requirements.
- Report any issues with the machine to the Team Leader and / or Production Director.
- Ensure own working environment is kept in good order with all materials used being stored correctly and safely in line with BRC and ISO14001 environmental requirements.
- Assist in general factory routines as and when required.
- Ensuring that all policies for product quality, safety and hygiene are followed and that all incidents are reported immediately to Team Leader / Production Director.
Knowledge and experience required:
- Good knowledge of flexo / hot foil / finishing and digital print finishing routines.
- Self-motivated and practical.
- Basic PC skills

- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to produce jobs correctly and accurately first time.
- Good interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
