PACKING MACHINE ENGINEER / SETTER

COMMUTABLE FROM NORTHANTS / CAMBRIDGESHIRE

SALARY: £OPEN (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm (Flexible for the needs of the Business)

Our client is a privately owned, well invested manufacturer of printed folded cartons and labels based in the East Midlands. They currently have an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team who have achieved BRCGS AA grade certificate.

They are currently looking for a Co-Packing Machine Engineer / Setter. You will be working within their range of packing machines maintaining the engineering of the machines, along with setting it ready to run different products.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the machine is set to optimise performance
• Ensure the relevant maintenance is completed on each machine
• Forward plan to minimise set-up time and maximise production
• Comply with company policies including Health & Safety, Quality and BRCGS protocol
• Ensure daily schedules are met
• Make sure continuous stock is available to co-packers and support within the co-pack outputs
• Complete necessary documentation
• Carry out any necessary repairs

Requirements:

• Previous experience or engineering background is essential
• Excellent team working ethic
• Diligent and attentive to detail
• Pro-active with a problem solving approach
