Our Client is a well-established creator of secure packaging solutions, serving a diverse international clientele across various sectors including chemical, oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, communication, ICT, hospitality, casino, security, banking, and manufacturing industries.

They are recruiting for an Office Operations Manager to manage the office team and to oversee a small production team. A move to new larger premises is underway and this is an excellent opportunity to help with decentralising.

The ideal candidate will be a strong all-round manager with a good understanding of the print or packaging industry and good commercial acumen. SAGE or ORACLE experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Daily Operations: Manage the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Supervising Staff: Lead and supervise 6 office staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Purchasing: Handle the purchasing of supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain and oversee office supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve any office-related issues or concerns from employees and clients.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee and manage a production team of six members, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and oversee projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Health and Safety: Manage health and safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Communication Management: Facilitate effective communication within the office, including meetings, emails, and memos.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate office staff and production team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with employees, management, and clients.
