NORTHERN SALES MANAGER - FOOD PACKAGING

Salary Circa £50-60K + OTE + Company Car + Pension + Additional Benefits

This vacancy for a Northern Sales Manager in Fresh Food Packaging presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sustainability and innovative packaging solutions. The company, a leader in the packaging industry, focuses on extending the shelf life of fresh produce and reducing food waste, making it a role for someone who values environmental impact alongside business growth.

You will be responsible for a blend of Business Development and Account Management, driving sales growth in the North of England and Scotland. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in plastic or food packaging sales within the Northern and Scottish markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Strengthen existing customer relationships and ensure top-tier service.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand the market.
  • Territory Planning: Create and execute comprehensive business plans to meet sales targets.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in collaboration with the Sales Director.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively interact with customers to drive growth in your territory.
  • Reporting and Collaboration: Assist with quoting, reporting, and work closely with your team to achieve business goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven Market Experience: Strong background in packaging sales, particularly in the food sector.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but strong Excel or IT skills are required.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised with good time management.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
