NORTHERN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - GLASS PACKAGING
Home Based to cover the Midlands and North of England & Scotland

Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive commercial sales in glass packaging, from initial enquiry to delivery. With a focus on both brown pharmaceutical glass and clear decorative glass, the role involves managing Northern customer accounts and creating new business opportunities across all sectors from the Midlands to the Northernmost Regions.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop new business through client visits, trade shows, and networking
- Manage customer relationships from initial contact to full account development
- Research target markets, emerging trends, and branding opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and manage orders
- Keep CRM updated and provide regular factory floor visibility
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Motivated to drive profitability and growth
- Experience in glass or related packaging is a must
