NIGHT SHIFT GLUING MINDER - CARTONS

EAST MIDLANDS

SALARY GUIDE: £38K

Shift Pattern: Monday to Wednesday - 6pm to 6am.

Products include flexo & digital printed self-adhesive & in-mould labels, sleeves, packaging, cartons, premium decoration, creative design, and branding. They are currently looking to recruit for an Experienced Gluing Machine Operator to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for setting up and running of a folder/gluer machine. You will be required to lead your team to hit timed deadlines with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within a team
• Making ready jobs for gluing
• Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained
• Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC
• Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks
• Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager
• Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
• Any other jobs required due to the needs of the business

Requirements:

• Experience of gluing folding cartons
• Computer literate
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated with a positive helpful attitude
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Team player with ability to also work on own initiative
• Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety
• Self-motivated and wants to learn and grow with the company
