Our client is one of the UK's leading independent sheet plants who specialises in the design and manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging, the company is well established yet growing rapidly currently employing approx. 100 people and is also well invested with further capital projects underway.

The company operate in the rapidly growing corrugated packaging market and the materials the company work with have strong green credentials and are playing a leading role in the war against single use plastic.

Our client is looking to recruit a Multipoint Gluer Team Leader / Manager. The opportunity is to lead a team of three people on their Bobst multipoint gluer and taping machine, working alternating shifts 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.

Ultimately our client is looking for a hands on Gluing Operator who can manage and grow a team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the team on the Bobst multipoint gluer to achieve and ideally exceed the daily production schedule
• Develop the skill of the team to enhance machine output and to ensure all product that is produced is of the required quality
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
• Support with continuous improvement activities on the machine

Key Skills:

• Experience of multipoint gluing corrugated is essential
• Ideally this experience should be on Bobst machinery
• Experience of managing a small team would be advantageous but essential as this role could be the first step into supervision/management
• A drive to meet production and quality targets and specifications
