Our client is one of the UK's largest independent corrugated packaging manufacturers. Their converting services range from high volume transit cases to retail ready packaging and they offer a full service in all customer box design requirements to clients in FMCG and Food markets.
They are currently looking for Two Key Account Managers in the North of England to join the team. You will be a crucial part in expanding market presence in the northern region. Focusing on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with decision makers and ensuring sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve personal objectives by building and maintaining a pipeline to deliver against budget, ensuring SLAs and stock agreements are adhered to for mutual benefit
- Enhance your job knowledge through educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks
- Accurately maintain the sales pipeline to fit regional needs, as documented in 1-2-1 meetings with the Regional Sales Manager
- Develop and communicate a clear sales strategy for your geographical area with the Regional Sales Manager
- Ensure customer contracts and agreements are meticulously filed and maintained, and that Paper Price Index reviews are carried out in accordance with customer SLAs
- Build a strong relationship with Operations to understand and meet the needs of the factories
- Timely preparation and submission of sales reports
- Engage with current and new customers to determine their needs
- Meet potential clients in person to convert, close, and secure new business
- Work with design and technical teams to find innovative solutions to customer problems, turning challenges into value for the company
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience in corrugated, packaging or similar related FMCG is essential
- Strong strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building and key account management
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent negotiation skills to navigate complex business scenarios
