Our client is a leading producer of high quality packaging solutions for the retail, apparel and footwear industries. They focus on providing sustainable offerings and providing customers with support for all their packaging needs.

They are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated Key Account Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with opportunities for career progression. You will be responsible for the development and growth of the business in your accounts of responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships within assigned accounts
  • Engaging with key global stakeholders within the company including product and vendor sales teams to drive growth
  • Assisting in delivering the company sustainability strategy
  • Preparing and delivering presentations explaining products and or services to customers as well as how we will meet their specific needs as they arise
  • Managing customer direct sales to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Developing yearly sales plan for assigned customers
  • Identifying opportunities and assist customers with solving problems
  • Managing all aspects of the sales process from identification to post-sales support
  • Communicating with customers and internal departments to assess product needs and to determine system requirements helping the customer develop complete system solutions
  • Coordinating with Product Development, Customer Service and Graphic Design teams to ensure there is good communication and understanding of customer needs
  • Monitoring and evaluate the activities of new product development, ensuring products meet the customer's technical and commercial needs
  • Identifying market trends in the industry and developing new product ideas
  • Recommending ideas to improve and grow our share within an account

Requirements:

  • Ideally 5 plus years relevant work experience
  • Tags and Labels experience is preferred
  • Maybe home based but preference for candidates able to work from the office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise, analyze and problem solve
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills and team-focused
  • Must be able to travel and or be on site with customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Willingness to engage in an open, safe and forward-thinking environment
