INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE OPERATOR

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 3 Shift System (Days, Afternoons, Nights)

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation: Set up and operate injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components according to production specifications.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, ensuring equipment is in good working condition to prevent downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including material usage, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including Supervisors and Quality Control Personnel, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure product quality and identify any defects.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues with machinery and processes.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the role.
• Communication: Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and Supervisors.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on a 3 shift system, including days, afternoons, and nights.
