Shift Options:
Days Shift Pattern: Tues, Wed, Thurs - 6am to 6pm (36 Hours Per Week)
OR
Nights Shift Pattern: Mon, Tues, Wed - 6pm to 6am (36 Hours Per Week)

Our client is a market leader with an international customer-base, serving a broad range of customer sectors. Products include flexo & digital printed self-adhesive & in-mould labels, sleeves, packaging, cartons, premium decoration, creative design, and branding. Ethical and environmental responsibility is at the heart of all global operations.

They are currently looking to recruit for a Printer to join their expanding team. You will be responsible operating and maintaining the production speeds. You must be capable of working in a high volume and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and standards are maintained
• Operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record / report in areas where this is not possible
• Work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime
• Liaise with the production manager to achieve the best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delivery dates
• Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing information
• Follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are maintained
• Ensure your team work and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient
• Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department via good communication

Requirements:

• Proven experience with flexographic printing processes
• Experience with water based and UV ink technology
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Capability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organisational and self-motivational skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience within carton-board manufacturing is desirable but not necessary
