Shift Options:
Days Shift Pattern: Tues, Wed, Thurs - 6am to 6pm (36 Hours Per Week)
OR
Nights Shift Pattern: Mon, Tues, Wed - 6pm to 6am (36 Hours Per Week)

Our client is a market leader with an international customer-base, serving a broad range of customer sectors. Products include flexo & digital printed self-adhesive & in-mould labels, sleeves, packaging, cartons, premium decoration, creative design, and branding. Ethical and environmental responsibility is at the heart of all global operations.

They are currently looking to recruit for a Printer to join their expanding team. You will be responsible operating and maintaining the production speeds. You must be capable of working in a high volume and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and standards are maintained
Operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record / report in areas where this is not possible
Work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime
Liaise with the production manager to achieve the best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delivery dates
Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing information
Follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are maintained
Ensure your team work and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient
Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department via good communication

Requirements:

Proven experience with flexographic printing processes
Experience with water based and UV ink technology
Strong problem-solving abilities
Capability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent organisational and self-motivational skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Experience within carton-board manufacturing is desirable but not necessary
