CUT AND CREASE SUPERVISOR / MINDER - CARTONS

SALARY: £OPEN (Depending on Experience)
DOUBLE DAY SHIFTS: Mon to Fri - 6am till 2pm / 2pm till 10pm (Rotating Weekly)
Our client is a well-established printed packaging manufacturer supplying into a wide range of market sectors in the UK. They produce packaging mainly for the retail sector which includes self-adhesive labels, linerless labels and printed folded cartons. These are produced using Lithographic, Flexographic and Digital Print Processes.
They are looking to recruit an Experienced Cut and Crease Supervisor / Minder to join the team. You will be managing the cut and crease process of lithographic printed packaging in a variety of formats on a range of materials. They operate a fast paced working environment with high standards reporting to the Production Manager.
The client currently has 3 Cut and Crease machines in operation within the department including Brausse Lavanta, Brausse Bora and Elite 1060. You will be provided full training on these models however Cut and Crease experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Cut and Crease machines as required to construct high quality cartons, sleeves as well as a variety of other packaging types
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs for Cut and Crease shift are ready
- Manage the quality of packaging
- Assist in the planning of trials for new packaging projects
- Ensure daily schedules are met
- Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain our excellent BRC grade
- Daily maintenance and care of Cut and Crease machinery
Requirements:
- An excellent team-working ethic
- Diligent and attentive to detail
- Supervisory Experience is Essential
- Carton Packaging Cut and Crease experience is essential
- A pro-active, problem solving approach
- Experience operating Brausse Cut and Crease Machinery is an advantage
