BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - BESPOKE CORRUGATED PACKAGING

HOMEBASED - TERRITORY AREA

TERRITORY: LINCOLNSHIRE, NORTHANTS, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, NORFOLK, SUFFOLK, BEDFORDSHIRE, ESSEX, HERTFORDSHIRE

Salary Circa £40K - £50K + Attractive Bonus up to 75% of Salary (Paid Annually) + Company Car + Laptop/Mobile

Our client are a leading bespoke corrugated packaging manufacturer and solutions provider (design, manufacture and print up to 4 colour, all in house). The company supply a wide range of market sectors including FMCG, retailers, supermarkets, produce markets, growers, food, cosmetic, automotive, industrial and horticultural.

Our client is looking to recruit an External Salesperson who has experience selling any related packaging, with a proven record of new business development, a diligent individual who will understand the nature of enquiries best suited to the business and target appropriate end users. This is a very service led role so you must be able to show your sales process, overcoming objections and your willingness to be proactive in the search for new business. There are existing customer accounts to be managed in the area too.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Demonstrate a proven sales record in the packaging market
• Actively seek/identify new business opportunities to convert and increase customer base
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market and all users of corrugated packaging within a defined sales area.
• Develop business relationships with existing customers, monitoring order levels and maximising new business opportunities with these customers
• Analyse and re-activate dormant accounts
• Provide market intelligence relating to competitor activity
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the onsite design team and administration team

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and good computer literacy. Our client is looking for a talented candidate who is keen to progress their career within the business. There is plenty of opportunity within this business for an ambitious candidate.
